CIDTrackerX: Caller ID for your Macintosh.
CIDTrackerX is a Macintosh Caller ID program that can display Caller ID information from:
a Caller ID compatible modem
Another copy of CIDTrackerX
CallerID Sentry for Windows or a program supporting that protocol
A Network Caller ID (NCID) server
YAC caller ID program or a program supporting that protocol or
the ACID Server for the 3COM Ergo Audrey Internet Appliance.

Most built-in Apple modems do not support Caller ID as far as I know.
The new Apple USB Modem does support Caller ID
Features of current release v1.2 (build 29)
- Universal Binary
- Can decode CID information from a modem attached to your Macintosh
- Can receive CID info from CIDTrackerX operating in server mode on a networked computer
- Can receive CID info from a networked computer running a Caller ID server supporting the Network Caller ID (NCID) protocol
- Can receive CID info from CallerID Sentry or a program that supports that protocol like the ACID Program for the 3Com Audrey (which has a CID compatable modem built in).
- Can receive CID info from a Yet Another Caller ID (YAC) compatible server.
Once CIDTrackerX receives Caller ID information it can forward the CID info to:
- A networked computer that is running a client program supporting the NCID
- A networked computer that is running a client program supporting the Caller ID Sentry protocol
- Another copy of CIDTrackerX running on the network operating in either NCID or Caller ID Sentry client mode
Also, once CIDTrackerX receives the Caller ID information it can:
- Shows list of received calls.
- Run an AppleScript when any call comes in.
- Run a specific AppleScript when an individual number comes in.
- Send a customized E-Mail
- Tell Growl to display a notification
Requirements
- A Caller ID compatable modem attached to a computer on your network.
- Caller ID service from your local telephone company.
- CIDTrackerX has been tested on OS X 10.4.10 (should run on earlier OS versions but it hasn't been tested on any earlier version).
Shareware Registration
- The registration fee is $15. This is a household license.
- Unregisted copies are fully functional except that there is a 50-50 chance that when Caller ID info comes into CIDTrackerX the display will show "Not Registered" as the name and "111 222-3333" as the number
- Register using eSellerate or PayPal.
